im trying to decide what brand of upper a arm to buy...leaning toward dse...but from what ive heard new lower a arms arent worth the money. any opinions?

That's what I've heard. Unless you're autocrossing the car, you won't notice the difference.

well, i dont plan on doing any road racing...but there are a lot of nice twisty roads here in eastern ky and i plan on takin full advantage of em all.

as far as i know the lowers dont do any geometry changes, they just add strength. I could be wrong though

Skeletor where is he-man? The lowers do not do anything for geometry. They just go up and down with the uppers. With tubular uppers, it is the length of the front and rear tubes that mostly control geometry. If you wait just a few there will be info on the two main tubular uppers, DSE and Global West. We are about half finished with the data points on the camber curve of each arm with the stock, Gulstrand and DSE mounting points. Stay tuned.

If your not going to do any road racing its a waste of money if you want some suspension upgrades go with a good set of shocks,springs,and sway arms.That 5-6hundred dollars youll spend on lowers will do alot mor somewhere else.IMHO

Save your money, tubular lowers won't improve handling. Some have improved strength for coilover use which is a plus.
