My car has 4 piston disc in the front and drum rear brakes. What type drums were correct, smooth or finned, or did were there some of both? Kevin

Best I can come up with is that they changed them sometime during the '68 model year. Both finned and unfinned were used on both front and rear brakes.

If I had a choice, I would choose finned for better cooling.

I'll try to find the cutoff date for smooth, but I doubt i will.

my '67 originally had four finned drums.
