After reading this article i don't think it will be. The Author gets a little help explaining why front wheel drive sucks from a GM engineer. I have provided a link but you will need to scroll down to the Article "Why frontwheel drive sucks". i think it sounds promissing that at least one person at the general thinks it sucks at least on performance oriantated cars. Read it and see what you think.

why would they make a perormance flagship model like the Camaro front wheel drive when the midsized cars are mostly scheduled to go rear wheel drive in the next few years? the GTO is only the beginning.

Go take a walk through any bone-, er, recycling yard and check out the Cavaliers and see how the biggest bunch of them get wrecked!!!

I bet most are spun around the front end and then rolled!!! Kinda like you turning a corner way tooo fast and the frontend tucks in and the backin comes around, jacks up and then the sucker rolls!!! pdq67

You bring up an intresting point and the same one was brought up in the article. I feel that front wheel drive gives a false impression of handling. You might feel as though the car is handling good because you are being drug through a corner, but at some point it gives and when the tail end comes around it can have devistaing effects. Anyway it looks funny too.
