I'm doing the LS1 caliper and basket, 13" front disk brake conversion on my formerly drum brake '68 Camaro. I'm reusing the drum brake spindles, with the top mounting boss ground down. I've mounted the adapter (Brian's from David Pozzi's page) and have shimmed out the mounting basket for about 0.018" clearance between the basket and the rotor on the engine side, but was wondering if that's enough, too much or too little clearance?
