Camaro catalogs show two different intermediate parking brake cables for 67 Camaros, either 79" or 82" long if I remember correctly. Some catalogs say the longer version is for big block cars, others say it's a "first design". Does anyone know which cable fits which application? FWIW, my car is a 67 Z28.

I recently replaced the parking brake cables in my '67 350 and I used the 79" center cable. Hope that helps.

My Oct 66 built convertible has the short leaders from the backing plates, so it requires the long cable. My April 67 hardtop has longer leaders and uses the short cable. Both are 327 LA cars. Only other difference is conv. is 275hp 4sp and the hardtop is 210hp PG.
