am rebuilding the heater box and have a new seal kit for it...was wondering what a good glue/adhesieve would be for this job?? dont want the door flap seal to fall off later on when its all together and needs to be used...thanks

Whatever you do don't use a hot glue gun. It will melt again when you use the heater.

I've had good luck with contact cement. You just have to make sure any paint is removed from the metal parts.
