I have found a 71 monte carlo which I plan to use to convert to disk brakes. My question is, is there a special wheel that has to be used with disk brakes. I currently have the 14 in slotted mags that were popular back then. They fit fine with the drums but will they fit with the disks. Thanks in advance for the help. This sight has been very valuable for me during the restoration.

I just thought I'd let everyone know the 14 in rims fit on the disk brake setup. I did only have about a 1/16 th in clearance though.

I think there is a front steer set up in your conversion where camaro's are rear steer.
i.e. the tie rods will be in front of the center of the front drums rather than behind but will work okay.
