Well i know i dont put much on here but i do read alot and appreciate the great help that i get. My question for you guys is on my 68 camaro i am just about ready to put the subframe back in and was curious if down the road i would be able to put bolt in subframe connectors in with poly bushings. Seen alot of solids out there but i dont want to have to pull the subframe back out when i am ready any suggestions would help.

get solids- they are better anyways. going from squishy 30 yar old rubber body mounts with 6 cylinder springs and worn out everything to solib body bushings and all new Moog suppension stuff in my Nova only made it ride better and rattle less.

Rick, you can install connectors any time you want. It doesn't matter which body mount bushings you have. It's just a matter of unbolting the rear mounts of the frame, dropping the front of the rear springs, and sldiing the subframe connectors in. You might have to loosen the front body mounts and then have to realign the frame to the body again, but you might be able to get away with leaving the front mounts alone and just pull the rear mount bushings.

It's a whole other ball of wax if you want to weld the connectors in.
