HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ME!! graemlins/beers.gif graemlins/hurray.gif graemlins/beers.gif graemlins/hurray.gif

Lemme tell ya.... I feel like I've been beat up. I haven't even installed the steering gear yet and I can't lift my arms anymore. I was painting the house the first part of each day this weekend, but then the rest was spent on my knees and creeper. The only snag I hit all weekend was that one of the shocks was missing all of the upper hardware.
And had I realized that if I had taken the upper control arm bumper off, the suspension MIGHT have drooped enough for me to get the sway bar in without so much "persuasion". ;) Oh well.... live and learn. Then do paint tough-up afterwards!

I'm so freakin psyched!!! I can't believe I'm actually putting it BACK together after all this time. I think I'm gonna cry.

Thanks to Team Camaro and everyone that helped along the way so far. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

LOL!
Speaking of "other bolts", if I didn't have such a huge stash of hardware available, I'd have had to ride up the street 6 times this weekend looking for bolts!
Fortunately my father-in-law retired from a machine company and he gave me 100 pounds of all kinds of stuff.... LOTS of it stainless!

Joes quote from web page:

" Whoever said it was easy to install a sway bar while the frame is bare was lying! I had a hell of a time getting it past the lower control arms at full droop. " End quote

It is easy if you put sway bar in before putting lower A arms on. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

BTW: Looking good! graemlins/thumbsup.gif
