: OUT OF BALANCE DRIVE SHAFT 95 TRANS AM mike S Jan 29th, 01, 04:14 PM MY 1995 PONTIAC TRANS AM HAS A BALANCE PROBLEM WITH THE DRIVE SHAFT. OVER 70 MPH THERE IS A VIBRATION FROM THE SHAFT. I'VE BEEN TOLD THERE WAS A RECALL ON THESE DRIVE SHAFTS, AND GM WILL REPLACE IT WITH A ALUMINUM ONE. ANY TRANS AM OWNERS OUT THERE HAVE THIS DONE? THANKS FOR ANY INFO . 1995 PONTIAC TRANS AM RAMAIR. You may have to buy a new drive shaft if the car isn't under warrenty anymore. It was a problem on 93-97 F-body's and there wasn't a recall but a service bulletin. A lot were replaced but they wouldnt touch mine because my 95 Z28 was modified with 4.10s.
