I'd like to have the clutch on my '70 engage earlier in the pedal action. It currently engages about 1/2 - 3/4 of the way up as I release the pedal. I've adjusted the free play properly (appx 2") and even experimented with this adjustment higher and lower a bit, but it still engages at the same point. Is there another adjustment that I can use to acomplish this?

Replace the disc, and adjust free play to 1/2"
