I need to upgrade my sloppy p/s gearbox
and am wondering about a Classic
Industries gearbox or possibly an Agr.I have heard good things about the Agr but posts have said a 14 to 1 is a little better for
average steet use. I will being running Hotchkis springs front and rear with 16"
tires. Anybody with opinions? I already
priced out a Lee and it was $440 w/ shipping
a little steep for me.

topless,

I am going to have DS&E acquire and rebuild an IROC fast ratio box for me. I am not sure of the exact cost yet but I don't think it is going to be very expensive. I will let you know when I find out.

Or try www.powersteering.com (http://www.powersteering.com) they will rebuild and put a 12:1 in your old box for $220 (plus shipping back and forth). My buddy did it in his 69.
