I just found a Track system for my 69 w/ 13" zinc plated cross drilled and slotted rotors. It comes w/ everything to complete the front system for $900.
I called baer and they said they don't make a track system for the rear and they usually match it w/ the touring system. My question is, I am thinking about purchasing the front system I found and buying the rear somewhere else. I think I can pick up the rear setup cheaper elsewhere as baer want's $905 for the kit with zinc drilled rotors. Does anyone know of a cheaper place to buy the rear setup that would still match the look of the front setup? Or should I just save up and get them from baer?
Has anyone done this setup? I hear the braking is awsome?!?
Thanks for your help!

I have the track/touring set up on my 69. I can honestly say it is the best money i have ever spent on my car. Mine are cross drilled and zinc washed with the 2 pc rotor. I know alot of people on this board have expierience with the vette brtake conversion for far less money, but i just didn't feel confident enough in my engineering (or lack of) to play around with brakes. They stop on a dime and people stop and look all the time. I have 17" cragars so clearence isn't an issue but make sure and talk to tech at baer about clearence issues. Make sure to get the adjustable proportion valve to dial in/tune the back brakes. Good Luck

Thanks, I am a little hesitant to spend that kind of money so, it's nice to hear that it will be worth it.
I have 17" Torque Thrust II's on the car already so I don't think clearance will be a problem?
Did you install yours yourself? If so, how difficult was it?
Thanks!
