Would anyone know which bearings can be substituted for the DB41042 Torrington roller bearing found in the 69 steering box? There are no replacements listed so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Try http://www.mcmaster.com

Thanks David. The local Bearing Shop was able to track down a replacement made by Torrington based on the dimensions. It will be here tomorrow morning. Price 13.00 Canadian (8.00 USD) vs Rick's price of 30.50 USD. I will post the new part number tomorrow for everyone to reference.

Also, when looking for parts like that. Try the GM dealer and have them look it up for a Corvette.
I've been told the corvette parts book shows almost every part of the car broken down in more detail than other parts books.
At least the older vettes were this way.
I wanted some distributor parts like coil leads, points screws, main shaft etc, the vette book showed them. I remember the parts guy said even springs for inside the clutch pressure plate were listed.

Okay, I just picked up the bearing, Torrington part# BH2020 Dimensions are correct, but the outer race is missing the lip. This shouldn't be a problem.
