I got a set of discs, off a 70 Pontiac Le Mans (front steer). When I use my steering (69 Camaro), to make it a rear steer, the bolts aren't long enough, in the rear holes. The front bolt has threads showing, on the other side of the nut. The threads don't even come through the nut, on the rear bolt. If I swap the spindles, side to side, the bolts fit great, but the calipers are in the front.

Has anyone else come across this problem, or know how to solve it?

The disc spindles use two different length bolts. Just get the right bolts.

The doner, didn't have longer bolts. When I bolt the Pontiac arms up the the Camaro drum spindles, they do the same thing (one side longer than the other). Also, since the steering stop, is on the arm, won't this limit the steering, slightly? It will throw off the toe in & steering geometry, won't it? If it does require longer bolts, where's a good source to get them? What length?
