[This message has been edited by ilbl8 (edited 01-29-2001).] 81'bird Jan 29th, 01, 07:23 PM These heads are center bolt an i think they were fuel injected heads 81'bird Jan 30th, 01, 08:27 AM Aer theses head's any thing like vortec's?thx's just a bird ilbl8 Jan 30th, 01, 09:49 AM bird, vortec head's have 4 bolt intake mount, you will only have 2 bolt hole's on the front and the back and no exaust cross over. i got the info on the head's from the MarTec web site. i do not think that they are vortech head's, the vortec head has a heart shaped chamber and a large rect intake opening, larger then a regular head. vortec casting #'s are 12552520 and 12558059. i also goofed on the id of your head's thay are 1987and up 350 head's 285/300 hp motor's. used on TBI /TPI motor's they also have the 72deg intake bolt's patern. so in nut shell no they are not vortec head's. vortec's where used from 1997 on up on 305 and 350 small blocks's. there are alos vortec 454 head's and 4.3 V-6 head's.
