Can someone tell me if these are worth buying 14101083 small block thx's just a bird

thet are fom a GM crate motor, 1.94 intake and 1.5 exaust used on a 285/300 horse motor's, 64cc chambers. used from 1955 to 1986...hope this help's, i am not familair with the head's my self, but 64cc chamber is not bad, and if the valves can be meachiened to the next size up they might be ok. but how much are you willing to spend?

These heads are center bolt an i think they were fuel injected heads

vortec head's have 4 bolt intake mount, you will only have 2 bolt hole's on the front and the back and no exaust cross over. i got the info on the head's from the MarTec web site.

i do not think that they are vortech head's, the vortec head has a heart shaped chamber and a large rect intake opening, larger then a regular head.

vortec casting #'s are 12552520 and 12558059. i also goofed on the id of your head's thay are 1987and up 350 head's 285/300 hp motor's. used on TBI /TPI motor's they also have the 72deg intake bolt's patern.

so in nut shell no they are not vortec head's. vortec's where used from 1997 on up on 305 and 350 small blocks's. there are alos vortec 454 head's and 4.3 V-6 head's.

These head's have been planed 20 an valve job done they take vortec intake an need alining rockers?or a different intake?thx's just a bird
