Can a multi leaf shock plate be used with a mono leaf axel and a 5 leaf spring?

Sure. You'll need the correct shocks for multileaf setup as they attach to that plate differently. Use U-bolts to mount them instead of just bolting the plates on, and think about using some type of blocks along the sides of the leafs to take up the gap between the shock plates and the spring mounts.

Are these the aluminum side supports that go on both sides of the leaf that the U bolts pass through?

I saw a pic somoewhere on this site but I am unable to find it again. I am doing this conversion now and I would really like to know the dimensions so I couyld have them fabbed up. :confused:

I would appreciate if anyone could help me out with this.
