i'm installing the square traction bar on my 67 camaro with a 12 bolt rear.i have the floor bracket on,and the square bar that mounts to it,but i don't have the bracket that welds to the axle tube.does anyone have one to sell? or if someone has a car with the bracket on it ,if i had a close up picture of it with some measurements,i could fabricate my own bracket.if anyone can help i would realy appreaciate it.thanks

Not sure, but check Chevelle, Impala, coil sprung rears..they use trailing arms that use a similar bracket. Maybe you can modify the bracket to fit your Camaro.

Firebirds all had two of these I think, one on each side with a rubber snubber on each to limit spring wrap up.
I can get you a photo.

i think i have an extra rear end with 2 of those brackets on it if you want the whole thing its yours, you could just cut them off and weld them on to your axle
its in livermore california, not sure where in the state you are but you can have it

Be careful about what parts you use.The only Firebird part that is the same as the Camaro is the front bolt on bracket. The bracket that welds to the rear end housing has nothing in comon with the Camaro part.I think that Rick's sells all of the corret repo parts with the exception of the floor bracket and the front mount. The front mount is avalible only as a used piece on a limited basis.Andy.

he's right the firebird is completely different. You will need the weld on bracket for axle tube and also the stop bracket. Also there is a small bushing that goes between the top smaller bolt on rear bracket. Don't forget the rubber bumper also.. All the stuff you need is available. Square weld on bracket has 2 holes. One larger than the other.

Guys,
Look at the date of the original post. - Nov 2001! The member "fnoblitt" has not posted on this forum since Dec 2001.
The post date is on the upper left corner of each post.

Yukonmmike brought this back up and posted that he makes these brackets and posted a price, which I edited out as there is no advertizing in this forum section. He included his Email address, so those interested can get the info from him easily enough.
It appears he may have found this old post through an internet search, registered and posted here, as his post count is only two posts.

Whatever the reason, there really isn't anyone asking a question here anymore. If you have info you want to share on this subject, feel free to post it here, I just don't want you to waste your time thinking someone was looking for an answer.
