Kent,

Sorry about the mistake but I posted my reply to you in the tires and wheels section. I will try to keep it straight where to post stuff.

Now, can anybody help me with my wheel selection? I was looking on the web today and ran across some American Eagle PN 211 "Supreme" or "Torque Thrust II" styled wheels in 17". The site didn't list any back spacing info so I guess that I will have to figure out how to contact I suppose American Racing Wheels and ask them if they custom make the correct back spaced wheels for my front. I'm not too worried about the rear wheels because they should be either 9" or possibly 10" (if 10's will fit upon measuring ) with the correct section width tires.

Please give me all the wheel input everybody might offer. thanks,

Try colorado custom's site. I think they offer custom backspacing in either 1/4" or 1/2" increments within a certain range depending on the wheel width. They are at www.coloradocustom.com. (http://www.coloradocustom.com.) By the way, I'm working on a similar swap, using 13" Corvette rotors on '68 Camaro hubs but I'm using the Corvette two piston calipers. From the work I've done so far, all I've had to do was fabricate a bracket from 1/4" steel plate to attach the caliper cradle bracket to the spindle. One other modification was to grind down the hub's outer edge because the overall diameter was too large to let the rotor register properly. Keep us posted on your progress.
