Hi I just bought a rear disc setup from a Iroc to put on my 69 camaro. My question is my axle flange needs about 1/4inch machined off to fit inside the rotor leaving another 1/4inch lefted to the stud.Is that safe or should I find a rotor with a larger inside diameter to fit my flange.

maybe machine the rotor on a lathe...rather than the axles..

check out this link, a similar conversion is discussed:

No, No!! don't bother the rotor's!

Your axles will be fine b/c my 12 bolt axles as well as my front hubs are the same way..

BTW, did you have to kiss the inner wheel axle bosses any?? I had to just a very small schosh... pdq67
