Anyone know what all Mark Stielow had to do to put the Vette spindles on the "Red Witch"?
I have a chance to get some complete with brakes and all from a low mileage wrecked 86 Corvette.
I still have drum brakes on front, so this would be an improvement in stopping power. Also, does this space the wheel further out than the Camaro hub? Like the looks of the Red Witch with the ZR1 wheels.
Looked at the pics in the Hot Rod article on the Witch but couldn't tell.
Thanks,
Virgil

Try Tyler at ATS. The web site is www.t56kit.com. (http://www.t56kit.com.) I know he is in the final stages in reproducing the spindles, I think, you are looking for.

you can use the rotors, calipers, and caliper mounting brackets on your stock spindles using the drum hubs. just cut the top mount boss on the spindle sown level with the other mounting holes, make a simple bracket using the template from David Pozzi's site, and maybe turn the drum hub down a little bit to fit inside the rotor.
