I bought a reproduction cowl induction kit for my 67 Camaro. The problem I'm having is the clip that holds the kick down solenoid in the throttle arm is just too small. I ordered an original GM and the same results. I was wondering if anybody else had this problem and maybe recommend a different fastner.

I know exactly what you're talking about - just replaced mine. The clip needs to be carefully spread open wider, maintaining the round shape so it fits properly in the hole in the arm - use two pair of needlenose pliers to do it, gradually. I also found that I had to bend the two little retaining tabs open a little more (the ones near the flanged end) so they'd snap back open after passing through the hole and grab the back side of the arm. Tedious, but it works fine once you enlarge it.
