Does anyone know of a company who offers rebuilt, "bue printed" close ratio power steering boxs for 1969 Camaros? Global West stopped offering them about six months ago. My box housing cracked, blew oil all over the street. I guess the only parts usable are the internals. Would it be possible to find a housing to swap the internals into?

www.classicindustries.com offers a fast ratio 3 to 3 1/2 turns from lock to lock. Part # P18501 for $219.95.

Lee Manufacturing out here in California makes really nice ones for about $400.

National Parts Depot offers the standard steering box, and the close-ratio steering box. http://www.npdlink.com/ Make sure you order their Camaro parts catalog - very thorough.

Go with Lee manufacturing. Those guys are real good. If you would like to get out of it cheap get a box from a late 80's IROC or Trans Am and put that in for 2.25 to 2.5 turns lock to lock. The best way is to use the new box internals with a old box case that way you still have the standard fittings and not the metric ones. Of course you would have to buy two boxes because yours is no good but they are cheap and the results are great. Lee Manufacturing can give you any information about doing this as there have been many articles written about doing this swap. Just my opinion on the way to go.

Thanks for the leads guys.
I called around and decided to go with a company out of Texas called ARG Performance Power Steering, phone # 972-641-2090.
Their units consist of a standard box with all new Saginaw internals and valved around 30-35 lbs. They said that this valving produces sightly more resistance than the IROC boxes and would be great for my application, hot street/canyon carver. If anyone is interested in the preformance of the box post or e-mail. I should get the unit in about two weeks, hopefully sooner, as they are made to order.
Also, they asked a few questions about tire size and recommended installing stops to limit the piston to 2.5 turns lock to lock so the tires would not hit the frame.
