I just found this forum so please forgive me if I don't follow proto call. I made brackets from 1/4" plate steel to make the C.B.B. theory work on my 69 Firebird. I street drive the car and have found the set-up to be very effective. Is there a market for this alternative braket? The cost to reproduce my patterns from my local machine shop is $75 each side. Spindle modification on the top bolt hole is still required but other than that it is a bolt on. It allows the 75 vette rotor and 75 c10 caliper to be used on the drum brake hub. Let me know your thoughts.

Spend a couple of evenings over at ebay and search under disc brakes and I bet you will find somebody is already making them.
Also search here under my name and you will find where I had worked with a guy by the name of Brian that made me a set out of 5/16" stock that mounts that caliper to the 1988 Vette 13" front rotor using either spindle, depending on shimming or machining, and drum brake hubs or two piece hubs!
It is called the pdqCBB caliper bracket to keep from getting it confused with my friend, David Pozzi's CBB setup and other setup's over on his great personal web site. The link is in his signature if you want to look it up.

I think people are selling the brackets for adapting the later vette calipers for $50. but they are just a flat plate, very simple to make.
I'd imagine Front brackets for single piston pickup calipers are more complicated, so I guess $75 would be OK.
If you come up with a web page for them, I'd be happy to post a link from my page.
