I want to drop the back of my 69 by about an inch or so, and I've seen the lowering blocks that do that. Is there a downside/negative to this approach? Will they squirm outr with the first holeshot? Will the ride shake my kidneys loose?( I actually thought I posted this yestday but the gremlins must have "blocked" it)

I have had lowering blocks in my 67 for 18 years(1.5 in.) and haven't had a problem yet.

The solid aluminum lowering blocks from Guldstrand Engineering are something to consider.

The cast/hollow lower blocks from most everone else tend to crack over time, which would lead to some bigger problems.

I too, have used them for years with no noteable problems.
