So far so good guys, i bleed them down and they are stiff! you guys were right about the pistons looking like a coffee can shape. soon as we started to get the air out they popped out and started working.
I'm going to buy some new lug nuts, becuase they put in 1/2" studs, instead of 7/16" like is standard on a camaro, doesnt matter to me, now i have the chance to meet NHRA standards becuase they're long and require open end nuts.
The Cragars i'm using required wheelspacers, but they were included with the brakes! and gets even better, they total width, with the spacers was only about 1/4" more.
Can't wait to take em for a ride, then i'm gonna bleed them again, and just keep an eye on them for a few weeks, and make sure they dont turn any funky colors or nothing.

i'm having some clearance problems.
Boodle, did you have any problems installing yours on the back of the rotor like you did? i have mine on the front (thats the way my brothers corvette has it, so i figure, hey why not!)
Figured out what some of my "spare parts" do, hehe when i called them today.
i'll update more soon

Install what on the back of the rotor? I am running 16'' TT2 wheels and didn't have any interference.

worded wrong, i meant install the caliper on the rear portion of the rotor (towards rear of car) instead of towards the front of car.
I think i remeber you having it that way on your webiste.
I actually was looking for 17" diameter skinnies like the prostocks use, but no luck, every 17" prostart XL was 8" wide minimally. i want something like 3.5-4.5" wide.

oh, I see what you mean. No, I don't recall having any problems with mounting the caliper towards the back of the car. On a side note... The rear brake system has its configuration in the opposite direction... with caliper towards the front of the car.

Do you have the stock steering arms and mounting things and such?
I might just modify my sway bar with a bandsaw and a mig welder http://www.camaros.net/forum/biggrin.gif
I'm not even sure if its an actual problem, with the wheels on it may never come close to that.

BTW aerospace is sending me out some 1/4" spacers that i'm going to weld to the other ones, so i'm not really stacking spacers. think its a bit much that i had to use a 3/4" total spacer though, they should really modify the hub to bring it out far.
They're also NOT charging me, nice guys!

SO i here i go again...talk to you guys later.

I didn't have to alter anything up front. Tie rods are stock, sway bar is in stock location.

i was wrong about the sway bar, on closer inspection, and looking at how the suspension was going to move, turns out it moves away from the bar, as the body comes down, and the lower A-arm moves up.
If i start doing wheelstands in my car, then i ethier have to remove the bar, or modify it.

Does Aerospace offer an upgrade package on Rotors...I believe the front rotors are like 10.5 inches and the rear are like 11.5 inches. I was hoping to use either12 or 13 inch rotors.

Also, do they offer their kits with Power steerng Master Cylinder and Brake Booster?

BTW, anyone know their website address?

Thanks, Chris

www.aerospacecomponents.com (http://www.aerospacecomponents.com)

As of the time that I bought my kit from them, the front rotors were 10 & 3/4'' rears were 12'' and they were non-substitutible. They at that time also only sold manual master cylinders. I just called Master Power Brakes and they set me up with a power booster and MC that works great with the brakes.

better off calling them up and talking to them, i think they're more of a pro-street/drag type company, i talked to Tom, and he said most of the guys there are drag racers.
I went with these guys becuase i dont have a pro-touring car, i drive normally, and i like how they're nice looking. and fit 15" wheels.
Check out Stainless Steel brakes corp.'s website, they make stuff for heavier braking called "Force 10", baer also makes good stuff in Big rotors.

Wheels i have wouldnt clear the caliper by about .05" so i had to have another set of spacers send out, and i'm gonna Tig weld them to the other spacers (i recommend getting the correect size if you can to begin with).
Tried them out, found out i'm in need of a 2lb residual pressure valve, becuase the brakes are bleeding back pressure to the master and its making for about 4" of pedal travel.

Will update again after.
