David,

I believe I read that you used Monte brakes on your 67. I am also using these. I know to use the steering arm from the drums, but what about the combination valve and the ball joints. I dont think the stock size lower ball joint is going to work. Am I wrong about this? Any help you could give would be appreciated. Thanks.

The monte carlo spindle fit my Camaro ball joints perfect.
Were you planning on using something else?
I'm not sure what you mean.
A monte carlo combination valve should work.

Make sure that you have a 70-72 model Monte Carlo spindle. If you don't, that may cause the problem that you are describing. I put 1970 Monte Carlo spindles on my Camaro and they fit the ball joints perfectly.
