I'm currently working on a 72 camaro that definetly needs the G-machine attitude. But whats the right combination? I was thinking of ordering polygraphite suspension components. Do I use solid or ureathane body mounts? I'm doing all the work myself and lovin it! So any build up advice is greatly appriecated! I already ordered a complete Hotchkis suspension kit, so I want to make sure everything gets tied together right.

the hotchkis kit is a good start, search throught the forum pages at www.pro-touring.com (http://www.pro-touring.com) and you wiil find more information than you will ever need.

Since you want that G-machine attitude, go with the solid body mount bushings and the polygraphite for the rest. Subframe connectors and a bigger sway-bar(s) for the corners is nice too.

I think there is even a Hotchkis group purchase floating around as well......
Might be a good time to jump in.

My wife and I are doing a 73, hotchkis, Baer, GW upper arms. I don't have much on my web page on it, I need to update what we have been up to.
We are going with the GW Del-A-Lum bushings on the A arms. Hopefully the ride won't suffer much and for sure there will be no squeaking problems. A tubular upper arm is needed to get enough positive caster.
An AGR or similar fast ratio steering box is a good idea too.
Here's a good forum: http://www.nastyz28.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro

I agree on solid body bushings. Much better feel.
Also, look into Vette Brakes products. They have some neat pro-tour type suspension pieces for 2nd gens... They have a front suspension setup that eliminates the coil springs and uses a transverse fiberglass monoleaf that looks pretty cool! You'll have to ask them about durability though.
