Installed and bled my new disk brakes and I can not get the lines at the calipers to stop leaking. Any suggestions?

Did you use crush washers where the hoses meet the calipers?

yup make sure to use he copper washers.....

if you did take them out again, clean the surfaces off and put it back togather....

if it still leaks try snugging it up a tad more.

I used a washer on each side of the brake line. Should they both be on the caliper side of the line?

one washer on each side. some replacement washers are really thin, and i've had problems with them.

also, if the hose end has a flat side and a raised notch side where the bolt goes thru the hole, make sure the flat side is to the caliper. some hoses are reversible in this respect, others are not.

The washers are very thin. I'll check the hose for a notch and a flat side. Thanks.

The problem is from a glass beaded caliper housing. The machined surface the copper washer seals against is gone, now roughened by the beading process. I hate when this happens!

One way of sealing, as Ryan c suggested, is to tighten it up. Let the bolt set overnight, then tighten it again. This allows the copper to slowly form itself to the sealing surface. Or visit your local hose supplier and get softer copper washers.
