What I see is:
1 More adjustability than other arms.

2 The arms are straight, so the spacer is needed to raise the arms high enough to clear the subframe. This will increase bending stresses in the arm.

3 I think the arms can be used without the spacer but you then have to cut the sub for clearance.

4 The arms look a little weaker than welded bent tube arms.

5 I don't see a droop stop. I guess the shock has to limit droop, or something hits the frame.

I think they will work as well as any arms as far as geometry.
But unless you need the adjustability, I'd go for a Global West, Speed Tech, or DSE arm because they have droop stops and less stuff to come loose or hit the subframe.

If I had them, I'd cut the sub to clear them and not use the balljoint spacers they show, that would greatly reduce stress on the arms.

Just my two cents from looking at the photos.

thanks david. i guess they dont look all that strong to me, but i was thinking the bj lowering kit sounded good. would it have the same effect as having a taller spindle? if so, what effect would lowering the stock arm, and adding the spacer be? overkill? worthless? do just one or the other?

the wedge intrigued me too. the ford guys do that when they lower their arms, but their suspension is totally different. i guess the fbodies dont need it?

i dont really plan to race, but i do enjoy a mountain road. i'm just kind of looking at inexpensive ways to get the most out of what i have. all your advice/insight is appreciated.

GW says lowering the arm wont affect camber curve. looking at what they're selling, i dont think i believe them... especially with having read most of your site (i have linked it many times).
