May sound silly, but I"m converting from PB to front Disc and what color is right for the booster, gray or gold paint or gold cadium?
I see there are many options and trying to stay true to stock as much as possible.

Steve Gregori can rebuild and replate them for a reasonable price. I would avoid the optional polishing if you want it to look original. He did mine and I am pleased.
The other alternative is the Eastwood gold cadmium irridite kit with the 3 rattle cans but it takes a little practice before you get good at it and it ain't cheap either. The kit can do a lot of parts and some parts can not be easily rebuilt so in some cases it makes sense to use the kit.
You could go either way.

The origonal "gold" color was actually a silver with yellow/gold tinge to it. Most restored boosters are way too much of a gold color, but people seem happy with that...

I tried the Eastwood kit and was not very satisfied with the results. IMO you can never get the correct look of gold cadmium out of the kit. I did a little research after the disapointment and found a shop to replate the booster, disc caliper brackets master cyl. cover, plus a few parts in silver cad for $65. That was their minimum or it's $4 a pound if you have a lot of parts.
