With what i experienced the Baer kit installed without a hitch on the 4 kits i've done. The Wilwood kit seemed to disappoint with the rotor diameters(front), e-brake cable etc. They may have some new parts that i don't know of.

I've had both on different cars; the Baers were light years ahead of the Wilwood's in my opinion. The Wilwood's had smaller rotors, and probably more caliper flex.

The first-gen Camaro kits from Willwood are more like a drum to disc replacement kit, not in the league with the size of the Baer kits.
We are installing a Baer kit on my wife's 73 RS.

There are two willwood firstgen kits, a drag, and a "heavy duty", the HD is still less effective than stock discs.

Willwood makes lots of good calipers and discs, they just aren't in their kit! There is a six piston kit for fourth-gen Camaros that looks pretty good, although it doesn't have dust seals like the Baer or Baer/Alcon kits.

I was disappointed in the Wilwood HD front kit....puny 10 1/2" rotors..etc

Something sure flexes up there....unless you really jump on them, a lot of feedback is felt through the pedal...actually, the whole car http://www.camaros.net/forum/rolleyes.gif

This is after truing the rotors that came out of the box with .005 runout, trying their latest pad material, etc.

IMHO Baer is superior in every way....maybe that's why they cost MUCH more http://www.camaros.net/forum/wink.gif
