When the brakes are bled does the car need to be level(all wheels on the ground)? The reason I ask is I raise the front of my car to bleed the front, and I was just wondering if maybe I should keep the wheels on the ground. Thanks John

I don't believe that it should matter if the car sits level when you bleed the brakes because you are actually using the master cylinder to push brake fluid thru the lines to dispel any entrapped air that may be in the line or wheel cylinder. I think you will get the same result either way.

John,

It should not matter if the car is level or not. I jack mine to get the wheel off to access the bleeder valve and I have never had a problem doing this.

Shouldn't matter but always start fartherest away from MC. Which means right rear wheel first.
