My 68 Camaro came w/ manual 4 wheel drums. I am working on converting to front power disks. Unfortunately, because of this, I have no way to reference how the disk set-up should be done? My manual has 1 page on disk brakes. Damn Frustrating!
My guess on installing proportioning valve (stock valve) is this :
The bracket that holds the prop. valve should be mounted on the driver's side bolt to the master cyl. (with the little rubber button facing the firewall). Then, it should simply go inline to the rear brake line.
Is there an input or an output to this valve?
Am I right in assuming that the rubber button on the prop valve does not go against anything?
Any detailed hints would be a HUGE help. I am almost done w/ this project.
THANKS a ton for the help guys!

Ps- just to be sure I am calling this part by the right name, my stock drum brakes came with the square box the divides the front and rear lines. The part I am asking about (prop. valve) goes between this and the rear brake line.
