Hi rjrock,

Vintage Air actually makes a complete kit that bolts right in the 69 Camaro. It's called the Sure Fit kit. It is designed for the car. You can request the installation instructions from them. Visit their website, www.vintageair.com, (http://www.vintageair.com) send an email to the tech dept requesting the installation instructions. They sent the complete instructions Priority Mail and even threw in a full line catalog for free!! After looking through the instructions, it looks like no irreversible modifications are required, and the system should more or less bolt in with some elbow grease!!!

Not sure if this is of much help, but I saw an add in the recycler (www.recycler.com) for a new Vintage air kit for a 69 camaro. I have a 68 so it would not fit, but the lady bought it a couple years ago never installed and now wanted $600. She is located in so cal. Not sure if you can search their site for past adds.

Thought it might be worth looking into.

Tell her to contact me. I'd be interested in purchasing that kit.
