pdq67,
I noticed you had been on nastyZ28 2nd gen site asking about 2nd gen demensions. Did you ever get them. What are the differences btween 1st and 2nd?
GBackus on the nastyz28 said he was going to talk to someone who put a 2nd gen on a Nova. How is your search for Eric wise? I called the three ph#s I had in MO but 1 was not him and the others were no longer in service.

I haven't gotten a response back from my inquiry at Hot Rod to have Eric get hold of me.
David P. and MikeM79 sent me pic's and Zcamaroz even sent dimensions but I haven't done anything with them. I really need to but was hoping Eric would pop up here.
One other thing is that I am thinking about asking the guy that found my 454 truck engine for me and asking him to grab onto a complete second gen. subframe, steering box and all!! That way I could compare directly to my cars subframe. But as usual, I haven't got around to talking w/ him either. Boy, I ain't worth a hoot!! pdq67

I would try and get a 2nd gen but I have lack of fund$ plus I no longer have a garage to do all the work. Maybe will both get it together and we can get together and make this work. Since we have heard of 2 people putting 2nd gens on Nova we should be able to do it. There is so much potential and benifits with the second 2nd gens, like a lot more available parts and cheapper. I think it would definately be worth it.

What would be cool (If I had the rooM and place) is to figure out how to make the swap buy up a bunch of 2nd gens, repaint, rebuild,(new bushings, big sway bar, lower/heavy springs etc.) and resell to others at a lower cost than these other aftermarket subframes. To other poorboys like us that can't afford it.
