I'm trying to install a Master Power Brakes rear disk brake setup. The calipers mount rearward of the axle and hit the shock on the drivers side. I'm using the Competition Engineering slide-a-link traction bars. There is enough space to re-drill the lower shock mount to move it inward but there will be only about an 1/8 inch clearance between the leaf spring on one side of the shock and the same distance between the caliper and shock. Looks like a pretty tight squeeze. If I re-drill the holes, will I have any problems with the shocks hitting when the suspension is going through its motions, up and down travel and body roll etc. Open to all suggestions if this won't work. thanks

Is that a single piston caliper?

The kit uses 80-85 Caddy single piston calipers and Trans Am rotors.

Check and see if one caliper doesn't go towards the front and the other towards the rear. you can tell by looking at your calipers when they are mounted, one front and the other rear, b/c if so, both bleeders w/ be up.
The other way w/ also have both bleeders up, too, if they both go towards the back or front.
This is b/c you can't bleed an up-side-down caliper. Hope this helps. pdq67
