I recently bought a used rear sway bar and now I'm having trouble finding instructions on installation. I tried my assembly manual and my chassis manual. Any other ideas. The bar is an Addco, but I don't have an address.

I know Rick's first Generation Camaro sells Addco sway bars, they may lead you in the right direction. My 2 cents worth(assuming your camaro is a 67??) is that you may want to consider ditching the rear sway bar. 67-69 Camaro's have a tendency to oversteer, and a rear sway bar exacerbates this problem. Many of the better companies that make front sway bars don't even offer one for the rear for just that reason. Hochkis advises against a rear sway, as does GlobalWest. They recommend going with some de-arched springs in the rear with a high quality shock.

Thanks for the info Shawn. I was just viewing their site last night and read the same thing. Maybe I'd be better off just going a little bigger in front.

Shawn is right on target. A 1" diameter front bar, stiffer front and rear springs (like Dick Guldstrands Slalom package) and some good shocks (Koni or Bilstein) will totally change the personallity of the car. There are some other postings in this catagory on this same subject.

Summitr racing has Hotchkins 2" lowering springs and a 1&1/8" swaybar taylor made for the 67-69 I got em and they are Incredible. Like Carl C says it totally changed the handling of my car. and I spent around 200-250 or so.
