I went to the local parts store. They looked up my stud knurl, went to thier stock and pulled out longer ones. The originals were about 1 3/8, the new ones were 1 3/4. Couldn't have been easier. For me, the store was CarQuest but I would think any better parts house can hook you up.

It would help if you told us if you need front or rear studs, US or Metric thread?
What kind of discs?

sorry, this is or the front hub, and i did the ls1 brake swap! my original studs were just crap, and when i got the new ones i noticed that they were a lil shorter, but i didnt think it would make that much difference. but now i am in a prediciment!
and where did you buy your studs from, there isnt a carquest anywhere near hear. but from the sounds of it i wish there was! so if you wouldnt mind tellin me what store you bought them rom either, i would really appreciate it. thanks again

NAPA will carry them or be able to order them.

Most any auto parts store can get them. Just bring in one of the short parts and ask for a longer set.

1 3/4" length should work...

It's actually easier than you think to locate them.

The ones you want are the ones listed for a 67-68 front disc Camaro. I got Dorman brand. 610-259 is the Dorman part number. They are 1 3/4" long and like I said are an actual first gen application.

i used the rear studs for an 81 Cutlass in the front drum hubs on my Nova when i did the C4 swap last year- they are 1 3/4" long 7/16" with the proper knurl. but a little voice in my head wants me to go with long ARP studs and open lug nuts for that real "race car" vibe.

i actually had to go to a speed shop and they had some 2 1/2 inch studs that i have on there now. they look real good and now i have that race car look! even if my car wont go fast, it sure will stop fast lol!!
