Does anyone have a clue what this block is or isn't? Its a 4-bolt main, 427 cubes, Std bore, with the "high" distributor tower, and a "512" casting. Date on passanger side block near freeze out plug starts with A ends with 8. Pad numbers starts with TD ends with 8MN. Also, numbers above oil filter boss on side of block start with 64. Any help would be appreciated.
P.S Block is for sale.

"512" castings began with 1969 model year; "A" is January. So if the casting date is actually 9 not 8, this is a 1969 Camaro COPO/4-speed block, so designated by the "MN" code. The pad should be "TO", not "TD".
The numbers by the oil filter should begin with 19N------.
Can you provide all the numbers?

The problem here is that casting #3963512 entered production October 1968 for the 1969 model year. Those castings would be dated J*8, K*8 OR L*8. A January 1968 512 casting is a stretch. Early production 1969 427 engines used casting #3955270.
There were 1968 COPO Camaros; the engine code is "MV" and they are believed to be 396s.
