I am converting my 4 wheel manual drum brake car (68 Camaro) to disk drum manual brake car. What master cylinder do I need to get? I had read somewhere that 1" was for manual brakes and 1 1/8 was for power brakes. But what vehicle do I tell them I need a master cylinder for when I go to the oarts counter. Also, I got the disk parts from a friends 68 Camaro (spindles, Caliper braket for single piston calipers, and backing plates). I was going to buy the 1 piece hub rotor for a 70 nova and get 70 nova calipers. Is this correct for my swap?

Basically I am looking for confirmation I got everything correct for my swap.

Thanks,

Matt

You can buy the Camaro one piece rotors and calipers from the auto parts store. No need for the Nova parts. You can just ask for the manual master while you're there also. $35 at AutoZone.
Advance Auto Parts has the rotors, calipers and manual master also.

Ask for a master cylinder for a '67 Camaro. They're the only 1st gen that came with manual disc/drum.
