I am looking to get some advice from someone on tire and wheel size for a 68 camaro my car has air shocks and can be raised i am looking for the largest rally wheell size and tire that will fit. will 15x10 with 5'

If your going to go big jump up to a 16 inch rim, you will be able to fit a larger tire with more choices of sizes and still keep the speedo correct. I just put on 265/50-15's on my 15 x 8 rallys they have a 4" backspace, and I only had a couple of choices The only way to go wider was to go up to a 16" rim. 275/50-15's the widest Ive heard someone going without majorly rubbing, or modifacations. I rub on my tires right now going over a bump. Does your air shocks make your ride stiff and adjust your height, because im thinking on putting them on to stop my rear from rubbing.

15x8.5 is as large as you can go in a 15" rim and as for the tires 275/60...its a 28" tall x 11.3 wide.also back space is max at 4.5"
