hello,

i am looking to put the ZR1 Takeoff wheels on my Camaro, but i dont know if theyll fit. from what ive been told, the bolt pattern is not compatible. so im opting for the SLP SS wheels instead. but im not sure if the 17x9s that i am looking at, will fit or not, or if they even offer a 4-3/4in bolt pattern. im looking to fix my car so that it resembles Mark Stielows Thrasher. at any rate, will i need to make any modifications for the wheels, will they even fit, and if so, what precautions do i need to take.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello vincent, I just saw stielows thrasher up close a couple weeks ago. It is nice! One thing to think about with the big wheels (17-18"). Alot of those guy's have to run them because of the monster brakes they're running. If you have stock disc it might look a little odd, or worse yet, little drums behind huge wheels. Just a thougt.

Those wheels should be the same bolt pattern, they have a large amount of backspacing and you will need to buy some bolt on wheel spacers to make them fit, vette brakes sells them.

yeh,

well, thx for the info fellas...i decided to go with the Torq Thrust II, cus American Racing has a custom offset wheel...which is choice! at any rate, most ppl ive spoken to, say that spacers are not wise in my application, since they may cause probs when not hub-centric and what not...

anyway...ill be sure to post pics after my beast is finished...

thx again, for the replies,
