Hey, scanning the old posts, I noticed all the guys that said they were running 235/60R15's on Corvette Rally's seemed to be 69's, which have a little bigger wheel well. Any 67's running these 15x8's w/ 4.5" backspacing? Somebody who ought to know said the wheel wouldn't fit and got me nervous. If it does, what's a conservative tire that won't rub AT ALL? Also, as a backup, what fits on dinky 14x6's all around without rubbing on a '67? Will front discs fit w/ 14x6's? Thanks, Steve Laabs

I run a 255/60/15 BFG T/A on a 15x8x4.5 rally wheel on my '68. The tire does lightly rub the outer wheelwell lip. I have a 15x8x5.0 rally that I belive will solve the problem. However, it does start to get tight around the shocks if you run a lowering block. There are others that run this size and have no problems. Conservatively, a 15x7x4.5 with 235/60/15's.

Carl, Thanks again! How's the Tremec? Mine's doing great so far. I'm real happy with my modified Xmember. Thanks for the tip. Steve Laabs

The Tremec is doing great. Like giving birth, you forget all the pain of installing the thing after you drive it. It's still weird driving 70 mph at 2400rpm. Just got my Dr. Gas X-over and 3 chamber Flowmasters on the car. OH YEAH!
