Has anybody done the 13" vette front rotor
and large single piston caliper conversion on a 67-69 Camaro? I have all the stuff and am going to use my old drum brake hubs. Everything lines up fine except I don't know what wheels to use on the front. I need a wheel with 5.25" offset and a minimum inside diameter of 15.5" I.D. next to the center-section.(The 5.25" offset will allow me to add .25" rotor thickness and .5" caliper clearance. I want to run 16" rims (say 16" x 8") but if I can't get them made for a reasonable price, I would consider 17" x 8" wheels but not 18" wheels. The only problem is that I don't know what 17" wheels will have enough clearance for my caliper next to the center-section and the rim. Can anybody help me out?

Is this a system from a brake company or parts that you are putting together yourself. I would make a template based on the setup size that includes your clearances. You can send the template to wheel companies to size up to wheels that you are intersted in.

If this is a home made system can you post what the parts are that you are using.
