What Size Front Tires Do I Need To Put On My 69 Camaro

Carl's right! What look are you going for? Rim size etc. I think 235 / 60's on 15" rims are about as wide as most go...

I have a 67'RS used to have 265/50/15 up front. Worked well but make sure your back spacing is good. It'll eat your wheel bearings up if it's not.

Try to keep your tread width about the same as your rim and a short sidewall. This helps prevent the sidewall from rolling during cornering for better handling.

I'm running 245/45/17's on 7" wheels with 4-1/2" BS on the front - they fit fine even with the car lowered 2" .

I am running 235/60/15 all around on my 67 RS/SS, with a little scraping in the front. I am switching to 225 or 215/600/15s to eliminate the problem. The cornering is great w/a 235 up front, if you can stuff it.

i posted a message a few days ago..i had new rubber put on my 67...im running 14 in crager mags and originally had 215/70r14's and the tires rubbed against the frame....the shop replaced them with 195 7014's and no problems now.hope this helps

I find it funny that almost every 67 68 and 69 I see has 235 60 15's on them , and at every show I attend with my 67 all the other people come over to measure my tires because Mine dont rub, they all say that they run 235 60 15 on the front and they work fine, (although a little too boaty for me) they all like the look and turnability of my tires, I have 235 60 15 on the rear, and 215 60 15 on the front. looks an turns on a dime. they dont look bad in the wheel well either.
