I am planning to install the 13" baer brakes on my '69 along with 17 inch americans. Any reccomendations on f/r wheel width and backspacing? Tire sizes? Any ideas appreciated.

I've got 17x7 fronts with 245/45/17's and 17x8 rears with 255/45/17's - backspacing is 4-1/2" all around. Everything fits fine with the car lowered 2". Check it out at my site below.

I`m running 17x8 in the fronts with 4.5 back spacing and 17x9.5 inthe backs with 5.5 back spacing. With no fender mods.

What size tires do you run, 69 RAGTOP?

Did you order the wheels with custom backspacing? I also have a Baer 13 inch front 12 inch rear set up on my 67 and have been looking at the TTII wheels. I thought only 4.25 and 4.75 B.S. are available as standard sizes for 7 and 8 inch wide wheels from American Racing. I was hoping to use the 17x8 with 4.75 B.S. The custom backspacing cost $$!

The backspacing I got was the standard offering at the time(about 15 months ago).

ONE more question on the wheels- any ideas on
the best place to buy? Would I have to buy custom offset wheels directly from American?

Jay Iv`e found that Sears was the best place for me to buy TT2. Then again I Live on a rock and I do work for them.
