I put a pair of 16x8 wheels off a 93 camaro on my 68. I used 2 3/4 spacers from vette brakes. If you need this size let me know. It depends on the offset of the wheels. I am selling mine. They are quite expensive new.

Go with an aftermarket wheel. When I was doing my car I considered the ZR1 wheel also but I'm not to excited about 2 to 3 inch wheel spacers at the end of my axles, so I went to a Weld 17" KC STAR. It looks good and I got the proper back spacing. Just my opinion.

I agree with palvey. But if you already have the wheels and you want to put them on, the spacers work great. The ZR1 wheels are very very nice. You just can't buy aftermarket wheels that look as nice unless you pay big bucks.

Hi, Ijust finished doing exactly what you want. They are 2000 17x8.8 wheels with 275/40zr17 and 245/45zr17. The fronts have a 1.75 inch spacer and the rear has 2.5 inch spacer. They fit perfectly and look awesome. `The car is a 68 convertable with a 2" drop all the way around. No rubbing at all(unless you hall around a couple of ample chicks.)
