This is probably a question you will get alot of different opinions on. This is what I have gathered from some magazine articles and parts catalogs. 1. All original 15x7 GM rally wheels (meaning the typical style used on Camaros, Chevelles, etc.) had 4 1/2" backspace. 2. All original 15x8 GM rally wheels (Corvette) had 4" backspace 3. The repro 15x8 rally wheels from Wheel Vintiques and others have a 4 1/2" backspace (which is a better fit for most chevys) | ||
