: Widest rim and tire on the back of a 67 with mini tubs, shocks moved, etc... Allen M Oct 9th, 00, 10:37 AM I got a 67 Camaro with mini tubs and the shocks were moved inside of the frame. The lower edges of the quarter panels have been widened. i plan on rolling the lip to get a little bit more clearance. The previous owner said he had 15x10 inch rims on it. Is it possible? What is the widest tire and rim that I can fit underneath the car? I plan on using Mickey Thompsons. wiredude Oct 10th, 00, 09:24 AM Allen: I have a 68 that i just put a ford 9" in, its 2" narrower than the origenal rear. i am using a 15x8 with a 4" backset. if i moved my shocks in i could put a 15x10 with a deeper back set. so if you are mini tubed and shocks relocated as long as you get the right back set you should have no prob...
